This recipe is started in October or November so as to let it mellow before the holidays. Note: if you want the fruitcake to have a Rum/Brandy taste you need to use the Rum on your cake.

  11. Prepare 1 gold leaf (edible) to decorate
  12. Take 1/2 cup glazed cherries to decorate

This is THE perfect fruitcake recipie. Good cake texture and not too much fruit. The cake mixture, using four eggs, filled an eight inch round tin and took THREE AND A HALF HOURS to bake at the stated temperature. The cakes are done when a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean.

Steps to make Fruit cake:
  1. First take butter with CONDENSED milk into a bowl and whisk till combined and creamy texture.now seive flour,
  2. Baking powder with spice mix and mix well.now divide the flour into 3 parts.now melt brown sugar with water,divide sugar mixture also into 3 parts.
  3. Now mix 1 tsp flour and mix all dry fruits,tutifruiti and cherries. Now divide soda into 3 parts.now add 1st part of flour,sugar and soda and mix well.now 2 and part add and mix.
  4. Now the 3rd and last part of flour,sugar and soda and mix well.now lastly add the DRYFRUITS mixture coated with flour.remove the batter into bake tin greased and lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake 180° for 25 mins.remove and cool on rack.decorate with glazed cherries and golden leaf.This is the best cake I ever made with minimal ingredients but taste so good.
