Then, mix regular Jello powder with water, or try using homemade vegan gelatin instead. Boil the one cup of water and add it to the Jello in a bowl or container.

  2. Prepare 1 can fruit Cocktail

Then add in the pineapple and strawberries—juices included. Use fun molds like these, cups, or glass dish to pour the fruit juice gelatin into. If using molds, then you should spray them with oil so the gelatin is easy to get out. Then simply set inside your refrigerator and wait.

  2. Add can of fruit last, give it a little mix, pop in the fridge until set.
  3. Notes cooking with kids my middle son made this in the ninja foodie, to boil the water, we used the sauté mode, it boiled water in no time.(the cool whip and jello was all gone before I realized I didn’t have a picture of it after I folded it in, whoops 😬)

If using molds, then you should spray them with oil so the gelatin is easy to get out. Then simply set inside your refrigerator and wait. This recipe is good to make at night, so it will be ready the next day. In my homemade jello, I use fruit or veggie juice, natural sweetener (honey-and it's totally optional!), and grass-fed beef gelatin (note: NOT gelatin protein powder). I love using fruit/veggie blends, like peach mango veggie juicefor the beautiful orange colored gelatin, cranberry raspberry juice, or blueberry pomegranate juice.
