  6. Get 1 tbsp pepper powder

  10. Take 1 tbsp salt

  12. Take 5-6 curry leaves
  13. Take 1 tbsp oil
  14. Take 3 cloves
  15. Make ready 2 cardamoms
  16. Prepare 1 small piece cinnamon stick
  17. Get 1 tbsp butter

For a healthier option, use extra virgin olive oil to fry your mushrooms. If you're in the mood for a little indulgence, use a knob of butter instead. Dip clean mushroom into batter letting excess batter drip off. I find it easier to stick a toothpick into the mushroom to dip it.

Instructions to make Mushroom fry:
  1. First heat a pan. Add oil and butter. When hot add cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon stick at slow flame.
  2. Then add onions. Cook them till transparent. Then add ginger garlic paste with slit green chilli.
  3. Cook them till raw taste is gone. Then add the masala powder and cook till aromatic.
  4. Add tomatoes, cook till mushy.
  5. Then add our capsicum saute for 2 minutes. Then add our mushroom. Mix them well.
  6. Add water and salt and close the lid and cook for 10 minutes. After that add curry leaves and mix well. Serve with roti.

Dip clean mushroom into batter letting excess batter drip off. I find it easier to stick a toothpick into the mushroom to dip it. After dipping into batter roll in Panko breadcrumbs to coat. Deep fry in oil until golden. Mmmm… looks at those tasty little fried morsels.
