To make the dal fry, I first boil the dal with turmeric and salt and then make the masala in a separate pan. Most of the flavor of this dal comes from using fresh onion, tomatoes, ginger and garlic. So you don't need a ton of spices here.
Instructions to make Dal Fry:
- Take all three Dal in a bowl wash them properly at least for four times.Than pressure cook for four whistle add 1 tbsp ghee pinch of turmeric powder and hing in it.
- Now take a pan add oil and Satu e onion ginger Garlic paste and green chilli paste and chopped vegetables for few minutes.After that add all dry spices. Cook for some time.
- After that add boiled and smashed dal to it. At this point you can add lemon juice too.
- Even you can give tadka to this dal by adding dry red chilli, cumin seeds in ghee. Garnish it with fresh containers. Enjoy the dal with jeera rice or steamed rice.
Most of the flavor of this dal comes from using fresh onion, tomatoes, ginger and garlic. So you don't need a ton of spices here.
