Steps to make Kothimir vadi:
- Take 1 bunch of coriander leaves and remove their stalks.
- Then wash the coriander and cut it fine.
- To this cut coriander add Chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and sugar
- Knead it into a tight dough with drops of water and little oil as mentioned.
- After kneading it will look something like this
- Then cut into thick roundelsand steam in a pressure cooker without putting the whistle. As soon as you see the steam coming out of the whistle
- Switch off the gas.
- Remove from the cooker and allow it to cool for around 10 minutes.
- Then take a frying pan put a tsp of oil and shallow fry the vadi on both the sides.Usually one side will take around 2 to 3 minutes. Gas should be on medium flame
